Topic: Biotin

The guest addresses the practicalities of "slonking" raw eggs, arguing that heat degrades essential nutrients and enzymes. He dismisses concerns about salmonella as overhyped, noting that the US practice of scrubbing eggs destroys the protective "bloom" membrane, which is why they require refrigeration. He also debunks the theory that raw egg whites cause biotin deficiency in humans, claiming the human digestive system handles it differently than rats.

The artist discusses his research into hair loss remedies, specifically mentioning the Chinese herb He Shou Wu. While he admits he has not found a perfect solution, he notes the herb's traditional use for restoring hair color and growth. The segment concludes with a brief mention of biotin as a supplement for hair health.
