Book of Raziel and the Cheat Codes of the Universe
The legend of the Sepher Raziel is introduced, suggesting that the Archangel Raziel gave a book of magic to Adam to help him cope with the fallen world. This is described as providing "cheat codes" to the universe, allowing humans to pull secret strings of causation. The suppression of these traditions by authorities is framed as a tool for imperial control, as sovereign spiritual traditions make people harder to govern.
