Bruno Borges Disappearance, Wilbur Wilkinson and Alien Languages
The disappearance of Bruno Borges in Brazil, who left behind a room covered in encrypted symbols and a statue of Giordano Bruno, mirrors the 1953 case of Wilbur Wilkinson. Wilkinson and a friend vanished after claiming to have contact with human-looking aliens in the California desert, leaving behind walls covered in strange hieroglyphics. Both cases involve individuals obsessed with "changing humanity" through secret projects and the transcription of purported non-human languages.
