A 19th-century exploration of a cavern in Adams County, Ohio, revealed a tomb containing the mummies of nine-foot-tall men. The central mausoleum featured a life-sized statue of a man with "Israelite-ish" features and a book made of 100 thin copper leaves engraved with Hebrew-like characters. The mummies were reportedly wrapped in cloth coated with an aromatic varnish, similar to Egyptian preservation techniques.

The shift from "mental health" to "behavioral health" is identified as a strategy for increased public surveillance and "pre-crime" intervention. She argues that the Adam Lanza story was created to justify flooding schools with behavioral officers and encouraging neighbors to report on one another.
